Goodness and Grace

Some days, even after almost twenty-five years of marriage, you can wake up and look at the man you're married to and ask yourself, "Who the hell IS this guy?" and then go on to wonder why his socks and pants and shirts are part of your laundry.
Seriously.
And then, three hours later and who knows why- the tide has rushed back in again, swirling around your feet, leaving you a little bit breathless, a little bit in wonder, and you wash his socks and pants and shirts and smile while you're doing it, exactly certain of the rightness of it all.

  4. Kori and Rachel- I wish it for everyone.

Magnum- Spring is definitely coming. You boys are feelin' your oats.
    I like it!

Maggie- Doesn't everyone who's been with someone for longer than five years feel this way? It sure is nice when the tide comes in, isn't it?

  5. That is what a marriage should be, and I hope to experience that one day.
