Because I Know You've Missed Maurice

Maurice is getting ready for the burrito breakfast. First she grooms, then she sits and keeps watch. The other day when the boys were here, Gibson told me that he had given Maurice some food so she wouldn't be so frisky.
I think he meant vicious. It's a good morning here in that she hasn't drawn blood yet.

Mr. Moon got up at four to go fishing again and will miss the whole thing which means that I will have four grandchildren asking constantly for their Boppa.

Oh well. I better start getting ready. I need a steam table.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood and for now, all is peaceful. Soon enough, though, it will get rather frisky. And that is all right.

Love...Ms. Moon

  2. We had 3.5" of rain last night! The morning is slow and quiet, unlike the friskiness you are experiencing.

  3. Frisky indeed. An old Irish superstition holds that the cat cleans her face and paws expect company.

    1. No. One, she doesn't like real food and, Two, as soon as people come over she generally takes off. But I gladly would have.

  5. Last week I opened my old laptop and found a picture of an orange cat with a little pink bell sitting in front of some plants. I am pretty sure it was a picture of Maurice. I vaguely remember liking it and saving it for my wallpaper. Or not. It could have been a cat I saw on vacation. I take pictures of every cat I see when I am on vacation.

    1. That could have been Maurice. She did have a pink bell, I think.
