I'm watching my chickens. Favorite pastime. Yes. My life is full and balanced and oh-so-exciting. Why do you ask?
See? Excitement. Sam is heading for Betty and I am leaping to the rescue. Those are my earbuds dangling there, just in case you're wondering. I had been listening to...hold on...bet you can guess!
NPR.
It's Saturday and time for Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me.
Chickens and NPR. Cheaper than therapy. Probably almost as effective. I also went down to the creek and it was beautiful. Dug up a fern and a tiny palmetto to bring home. I suppose that was my Black Friday shopping event.
And the world continues to turn.
I sure do love you and the world that you have created. All I can say is there is truly nothing like home.
ReplyDeleteI sure do love you Mama, and try not to worry so much (which is exactly what I heard you say to David as he went out the door last night).
Sounds like a great time to me... how did you like Robert Earl Keen? He's cute and funny, no? I was excited he was on today! That story about his wife shooting at the cats in her undies was just too damn much fun!!

ReplyDeleteHoneyLuna- I'm much better at giving advice than taking it. I love you.
ReplyDeleteMs. Fleur- I'd heard that one before. He's a hoot.
Maggie- When you come visit, I will take you. It is very beautiful.
I want to come too!
ReplyDeleteWow, great legs!
ReplyDeleteSJ- Wouldn't it be lovely if we could all go down to the Creek for special Baptism services? But it has to be warmer! A good dream.
ReplyDeleteBethany- They run in my family. Haha! I didn't even intend that pun.
Once again, I'm impressed by what appears to be your perfect legs.
ReplyDeleteWow. Look at that strong yoga'd body.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth and Michelle- Walking. Walking and walking and walking and walking. And genes.
ReplyDeleteLOVE "Wait, Wait"!!! Great pictures of you and your feathered friends. :-)
