Comments

Is there no end to the fooling around you can do with comments and how they are handled? Perhaps, but I have not reached that endpoint.
So I am fooling around with mine again. You know why? Because it's too awkward for me to respond with the drop-down comment box. So there. And if I can't comment on comments, then there is no communication and dammit, if there's anything I want to do here, it is to communicate.
Plus, I am going to delete the sobriety test commenting feature. I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE DRINKING WHEN YOU COMMENT! Plus, no one seems to be spambotting my site. If that occurs, I shall go back to the dreaded comment verification word which can, at times, be eerily appropriate but which always takes time. And none of us has time to waste, including YOU!
Okay. That's all.
Hope you're having a good weekend.
Love...Ms. Moon

  1. God, I love that photo. I didn't even know that there were options for comments. I just type blindly and pretend that I know what I'm doing.

  2. Elizabeth- Oh yes. There are many options. Go to "Dashboard" and check them out. And isn't that picture incredible? If you ever go to Google images and just type in anything, anything at all, you will find pictures that you can't even imagine. My son has a new blog of nothing but images and they are so fun.

One of the strangest things I've learned about myself through blogging is that I love the images that go with the words whether I take them or not. I believe you have found this to be true as well.

  3. My brain is jumbling words and read your "new son has a blog" and I thought WTF SHE HAS A NEW SON AND HOW LONG SINCE I READ HERE AND HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE AND - oh. Reread it.

But mostly I'm just here to say I agree with your comment choice. Nice.

  4. Ms. Nola- Phew- I thought I'd mis-spoke. It would not be the first time. This week.

  5. I just have to do it in Explorer. I figured out the issue. So, I'm ok.

  6. I like this comment format a lot better. it is so much more...manageable! Plus, okay, I like to be able to just scroll back up and re-read parts if I need/want to whole commenting, and I hate that when it is in a separate box.

  7. Ms. Fleur- Try downloading Firefox. It's a much better browser.

Kori- I think I like it better, too.

  8. I like Firefox so much better, too. I like to have illustrations to go with the posts but have been lazy lately posting trivia. I've been working on the house and doing other things and didn't want my blog to be blank. I'll get back into the swing of things again soon when I can get my thoughts together. Hope that's not a long wait!

  9. Yay Firefox! Yay your new comments thing! And yay (thank you) for switching off the other thingy, because I like commenting when I've had a couple of glasses.

  10. I hated the word verification thing. So I'm delighted that is gone.

BUT.....there is no 'click to get follow up comments' box :-(

  11. Wait, I tell a lie...

After you comment you can click the subscribe by email right beside the comment box.

    That's cool.

  12. I learn so much from you. Not only about life, but now re options in the commenting box! I had no idea when I found you (I think through the poetical Flux Capacitor, maybe discovered via inimitable Blognut?), that you would become my technical guru too. Kidding. Still, my fearless leader!

Of course when I started this, I had no idea when I commented that someone could click on my signature and go to my blog. A couple of kind people commented on mine and I could not understand how they had found me!

This blogging thing is such a wonder to some of us, we are children again, with shiny new baubles.

  13. The entire blogger comment feature could be improved. I think you're leaving comments for me and they're not getting published, and I'm not getting them. I think I'll disable the word verification thing too - maybe that's what's causing the problems. The only spammer who visits my blog is the google bot.

  14. I like this new comment way, except now the commentors pictures aren't there for me to see. I guess it goes with the thing about liking to see some image with a message, but I do too. I think I am a visual learner...

  16. Joy- We're here when you're ready.

Mwa- We'll try it and see what happens.

DaddyX- Glad you're happy. I live to serve.

Glimmer- That's it! It's our toy and we love it.

Ms. Lucy- You know darn well I ALWAYS comment on what you write. I will check not to make sure I get posted correctly.

HoneyLuna- I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. I went back to see if I could change it, but I can't seem to.

Anonymous- Well. In some way I have.

  17. yes, this is better.
I think that I like my facebook on account of the communication. Although, somehow people comment...and I get it in e mail...and I can comment directly back to some of them to their e mail. I like that
