The Library Is Not Going To Like This

Tip for the day:

Tapes do not need a prewash cycle. They get plenty clean in just the regular wash.

  1. 'Senior Moments!' Can't live with them, can't......can't do what? WTF was I going to say?
    You still have a VCR?
Yes!!! I'm the first commenter here today, I'm off to play '111' on the lottery.

  3. Ms. Lucy- It's a audio tape. A book on tape. And yes, I have a walkman which plays cassettes.

Ms. Fleur- Nah. The library will only make me replace the tape. Mr. Moon broke a CD a few weeks ago from the library and it wasn't too expensive.

Michelle- Tape 5, Part 2 of Lonesome Dove. Luckily, I'd already listened to that one. It was in the back pocket of my yardwork overalls.

  4. Isn't it nice how it looks like a little nest? Maybe your washer is nesting, too?

  5. You should really go digital, Ms. Moon. But I suppose you just figured that one out. Woops.

  7. A friend keeps suggesting that I download audio books and all that, but I still listen to them on tape and CD, too. Eventually I guess I'll move on, and by then it will be something else.

Thanks for that helpful advice. I rarely prewash anyway. :-)

  8. Ms. Trouble- I had to use the scissors on that tape to get it from around my clothes. It was a mess of a nest.

Ms. Ginger- Yeah. Oops is right.

Daddy X- It would have cost a lot more to wash an iPod.

Mwa- But the library has SO MANY good books on tape still.

Joy- Exactly. I never prewash but I did yesterday because those overalls I gardened in were so filthy. Ah well.
