Done

The old Singer and I did it. The quilt is finished.
And it is as imperfect as I am.
But it will be warm and it will be soft for my grandson.

  1. Oh, Mary...

That is a fine baby quilt, indeed.
    And a beautiful picture.
    He will be beautiful, too.
    I know it.

  5. Ms. Trouble- I think he is beautiful now, rounding out Lily's belly. I hope he likes his quilt.

    Daddy X- You want one?

Mwa- It has a lot of love in it.

Ms. Lucy- Nah. The more it's used and washed, the better it will be.

    Steph- Well. Done. At least.

    Rachel- Oh. I hope so.

    Ms. Ginger- Well. It's warmth.

  6. Yay!

Thank you for posting - it got me back to working on my quilt for my friend's baby due in March. And once I finish that I can work on a quilt for me to keep me warm in the winter. For three winters here, I've been cold because I refuse to buy a blanket. But this year, I will have a quilt because I will start and finish it, and in a small way we will have you to thank because this post reminded me to get back to it. (And even a larger thanks if you'd drive on over here and help me out!)

  7. B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. That baby is a lucky little fellow. My mom made Christmas stockings for each of my kids, and they are so cherished. As your quilt will be.
