Petit Fleur just called me and when I answered the phone she said, "Are you all right?""Yes," I answered. "I'm fine. Why?"
"You haven't posted yet today," she said.
My goodness! I guess I have become rather obsessive about daily posting.
So I thought I'd just drop this one in here. That's me in the picture. Duh. I've been out doing a little yardwork. I've been working on Part Whatever of my story and I plan on finishing and posting it here later on. Mr. Moon is going out of town and I thought it would be a good idea to wait until he left so I can really concentrate.
You know.
And yeah, the chickens are fine and we need rain and I just transplanted my precious begonia I started from a leaf last July into a big pot outside and I feel sort of like I did when we put the chickens in the coop only maybe more so. As far as I can tell, chickens are hardier than begonias.
I'm pretty hardy too.
And yes. I'm fine. But it's nice to have such a caring and observant neighbor. If the axe murderer got me, she'd notice before 24 hours was up that I hadn't posted and well, let's just say that in this heat, the sooner they find the body, the better.

ReplyDeleteI love that last line the most. And I can tell you that I wouldn't be the friend to notify the authorities, as whenever I get back to work after a weekend off (no pc at home), I don't even notice the dates. Doesn't mean I care less, just less observant, ha ha.
