Last night HoneyLuna came to spend the night on her way back from St. Augustine and we went out to see the chicks in their new digs and then we checked out the fish pond. It was pitch black dark but we had a flashlight and as we approached the pond, there was a loud "splash!" as Mr. Frog heaved his body into the water. We could see him with the flashlight, clinging to the side of the pond and I got the camera.
If you look very closely, you can see the little man there underwater, his toes splayed to achieve clinginess.
I like the one where HoneyLuna turned off the flash and just used the flashlight. It makes the frog look like he's made of neon. Or perhaps was accidently exposed to nuclear radiation.
No frogs were harmed in the making of these pictures.
Frightened, maybe. But not harmed.
Froggy went 'a courtin'and he did ride, rinktumbuddyminchacambo.
ReplyDeleteFrogs are cute :)
ReplyDeleteMs M - Frogs are so cute. Do your dogs never try to eat them? This is somewhat of a problem at my house.

Lady Lemon- Nope. My dogs, as far as I know, don't eat frogs. I've seen it happen before though and it can get nasty.
