Goodie. Look at the boy! In two years from a little pink gummie in a cot to a boy that holds a brush. And holding it like a pro. A masterpiece will be delivered for sure! I still have my oldest son's first school drawing! It's magic happening.
Towanda- It kept his attention for quite some time.
Jill- He's my little in-house comedian and savant. Well, you know- as his grandmother that IS what I'd think.
Photocat- It's funny but I never really considered how well he holds the brush. I just gave it to him after showing him how to dip it in water and then color and then put it on the paper. After that, it was all his doing.
Syd- Oh yes. One masterpiece after another.
Jaye- And that is the essence of a child doing something new.
Angella- I'm just happy I've found something he enjoys doing for more than three minutes at a time!
Well, spit or no, you got an AMAGING photo out of the experience. And some great art too :)
ReplyDeleteLook at that pen-hold, Mary, he has on the paintbrush! Genius child...
ReplyDeleteI love the expression on his face.
ReplyDeleteOh, my god -- that second photo is incredible.
ReplyDeleteJo- Well, as his grandmother I can hardly say that but...
ReplyDeleteEllen Abbott- He was INTO it. Concentrating.
Elizabeth- Isn't he a beautiful boy? And you should know, being the mother of such beautiful boys.
You are so lucky to have this precious talented boy in your life. Just look at that concentration!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures and how you can see his extreme concentration. I love it when you share his language as well - amaging.
