Retrieving your treasures from the island home has worked out well. You must be pleased to have everything you wanted. The new owner might have had no interest in them. Rescue success!
I have one of those, somewhere. I never use it anymore, it stops large spatters, but breaks them up into millions of tiny spatters so I still have to wash down the stove top anyway. No sense in washing a spatter guard as well.
I love your pelican windchimes. Just waiting for an ocean breeze. I had to laugh about your house lifted off the foundation by bamboo. Perhaps Jack's beanstalk was actually bamboo. I've got a stalk of bamboo rooting. It doesn't show any inclination to grow. Maybe I'll just swipe some of yours!
Much more elegant than our spatter guard.
ReplyDeleteWorth the whole trip!
