In No Particular Order

It is Lily and Jason's fifth anniversary today! Aren't they beautiful?

Well, it's the wedding day. And it's the most beautiful day imaginable.

Last night was the big cook out and it was lovely and we sort of had a rehearsal for the wedding and yes, canoes are going to be involved. Not for me personally, I hasten to add.

Oh Lord. It is going to be so beautiful. And this morning we're rocking and rolling despite the fact that the old folks stayed up way too late and okay, maybe drank a little too much Tito's vodka but it was so much fun and well, hell. No blood, no foul and Jessie's off doing pre-wedding things and I hear that there are biscuits and fruit salad down at the camp but we're having french toast right here and the girlies are all getting ready to go get pedicures and the sun is shining off the mountains and Gibson is toddling around and Owen is excited to be the ring bearer today and the men have made the most beautiful arbor.

My little girl is really getting married.
I keep offering to give her sex advice but we both know I'm joking.

Stay tuned.

Much love...Mother Of The Bride

  14. Me too gradydoctor. I am imagining revelry and bonfires just now, and the music! The twilight is waning in WNC and it has been a stellar day. I think I saw only one cloud in the early afternoon; otherwise all Carolina blue sky. Cannot wait to see the pictures!
