A Boy And A Chicken

Since I have been sorely remiss in the daily chicken update, here is a picture I took today of Harley holding Suzie. His mother is helping because Suzie is more than a three-year old's handful these days.
I think she may be a boy named Sue.
I still can't tell which of those chickens are roosters and which are hens.
But Harley said something today when he saw them which I feel certain is true:

They're going to be real birds!

Yes sir. They are.
And Harley is going to be real smart.

Okay. He already is. And cute, too, not to overstate the obvious.

  4. Great pic! We had so much fun today. Harley is always so excited to see you and serenade you and see the goaks and chickens and pick from the garden... It's a child's wonderland.

I've already had a huge bowl of zuppa and we've all been loving on the bread!

    Thanks Mier.

  7. No, Ms. Moon, that is the HIGHEST compliment I can offer. Harley is ADORABLE. But MY boy, the love of my life, is of course the MOST adorable. See?

I'm sure PF new what I meant. :)

  8. Aw, Steph. Your little boy is adorable! I understand how nothing can compare with your own. I mean, I don't have kids, but I am that way with my dogs already, so I can totally imagine it.
