I may be rather inactive here in blogworld for a few days.  Probably.

So far today I've walked several miles back and forth across the house trying to pack, remembering one thing I need to add to the growing mound of stuff I'm taking that's in the other end of the house, walking there and forgetting what it was, walking back and remembering something else.

Also? It's a good day to be leaving. Something died under the house near the kitchen and it does not smell good. Hopefully when I get back on Sunday, the worst will have passed.

Love....Ms. Moon

  10. Something died...oy. I remember the time a mouse died in my wall, which required a bit of demo. Thanks for the memories.😝 enjoy your vacation.

  11. There's a saying in French that goes "celui qui n'a pas de tête a des jambes" - which means "(s)he who doesn't have a brain has legs" - that's how I get most of my walking in too! Have a wonderful time!

  12. Is there no way to get under the house to remove the body? Perhaps it's the fox that got your chickens and now has met his fate.
