I may be rather inactive here in blogworld for a few days. Probably.
So far today I've walked several miles back and forth across the house trying to pack, remembering one thing I need to add to the growing mound of stuff I'm taking that's in the other end of the house, walking there and forgetting what it was, walking back and remembering something else.
Also? It's a good day to be leaving. Something died under the house near the kitchen and it does not smell good. Hopefully when I get back on Sunday, the worst will have passed.
Love....Ms. Moon

ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true southerner. Have a wonderful time!
Hopefully whatever died will be the critter that was eating your chickens!
ReplyDeleteHave a good trip.
Enjoy your trip. And as for leaving the smell cure to Mr Moon, marriage ain't for weaklings!

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time. Steve echoed my thought - hopefully that damned fox.
ReplyDeleteI hope that what died down there was the beast that ate your chickens! No problem - SuperGlen will sort it out!
ReplyDeleteGet packed, then go and have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteSomething died...oy. I remember the time a mouse died in my wall, which required a bit of demo. Thanks for the memories.😝 enjoy your vacation.
ReplyDeleteThere's a saying in French that goes "celui qui n'a pas de tête a des jambes" - which means "(s)he who doesn't have a brain has legs" - that's how I get most of my walking in too! Have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIs there no way to get under the house to remove the body? Perhaps it's the fox that got your chickens and now has met his fate.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with your friends and tell us all about it when you get back.
