Follow-Up

I just want to say that I had no idea how people would respond to that little post I wrote last night but I am honored and amazed at how each of you has written about the things you do not generally discuss. You took that question seriously and you let a little of your heart out here.

Thank-you. And bless all our hearts. As always.

  1. Ms Moon, I just wanted to thank you for letting me get all that off my chest, but as for writing a book...well, not yet!
I'm no writer, or pretend to be! I just write what I feel or what is in my heart.
    Many thanks!

  3. I could never ever resist you saying 'Tell me, babies!' That is the best, and you should do it more often :)

  5. I just wish I had time to blog. I need to use the outlet badly--but just can't seem to be able to. I'm doing everything via blackberry these days and can't express myself that well from that.

  6. my dearest mary...

i read the first line or two of that post, and didn't read on because even the THOUGHT of opening up that can of worms opened up a can of worms.

now that i have a minute, i have read your last post as well as this one.

i have run away from two blogs trying to find a safe place to be me. not easy.

i don't write about most of what i feel; a few months ago i had the most painful falling out with two women who are deeply important to me, and since then i keep my mouth shut in general.

i know there are(at least) two sides to every story. i get that. i also get that one of the women with whom i had this falling out reads my blog(s). and yours. and her blog has become really great, and rather popular.

sometimes i want to rail against the world. the government. obama's government. what i read in our blog circle. you know that (at least) one time a comment i left on michelle's blog was COMPLETELY misunderstood by a popular blogger/commenter.

so, i keep my mouth shut.

i will say that i am not a christian by any means, though i love the bible. i am informed by it.

i have gotten into the habit of taking a deep breath, and sucking it up when someone rails about the traditions in the bible.

i have no beef with anyone who has qualms with organized religion, but the traditions in the hebraic scriptures are older than the 'church', and they are beloved to me.

    there. i said it.

    i love you

  7. SJ- I hope you get the time you need soon. We'll be there when you do.

Adrienne- My dear woman, you can say anything you want here. There is nothing I can imagine you saying that would offend me. I deeply respect your deep respect for the hebraic scriptures. If this is what guides your heart, then hurray for that! Don't be afraid to be who you are. Whoever doesn't see your heart is missing the point.
    Amen and amen.
