If There's A Plan To Bomb An Entire Civilization Into The Stone Age, It Must Be Tuesday

I literally just sent one of the most heartfelt posts I've ever written into the ether.
Or somewhere. Possibly the Stone Age.
Wherever it is, I can't locate or retrieve it.
Probably all for the best and I guess that picture really says everything I needed to say anyway.

Breathe, y'all.
Look up.

Love...Ms. Moon

  1. Don't worry Mary. That ****ing ****ard cannot destroy an ancient civilisation because it is carried in the hearts of all the people who left Iran to escape from The Regime. There are many thousands of them. Besides, your deranged leader has no idea what civilisation is.

    1. Nor does he have any idea what "civilized" is either. Or empathy. Or concern. Or caring. Or logic. Or truth. Or...
      Well, I could go on.

  2. Look up, don't watch news....it's toxic..(that's my remedy for today)..and let us *Imagine* peace as John Lennon would have said and hope for that......I listened to that song today and cried for 3 hours.... tears of *hope*

    1. I just gave a quick glance at some headlines and did not click on one.
Whatever. It does me no good to start the fret and fury they always produce these days.

  3. The tiny little being in charge ( he thinks) has backed down yet again. Have you seen his demented ramblings to the children at the White House egg roll? Margaret

    1. Yeah. I saw that. He's completely gone 'round the bend.

  4. He's backed away. But I bet he'll now claim his threat worked, it was just a plot to get Iran to agree to a cease fire. See how brilliant he is? And MAGAts will believe his b.s. Damn, he's demented.

    1. Amen. I just feel like the more he's taunted for his TACO'ing again and for his lies about "winning the war," the more apt he's going to be to make good on that promise. The one about blowing up Iran.

  5. The idiot backed off just as he always does and now any good that comes from that will be claimed by him though we all know he doesn't do "good".

    1. No. He does not do good. Even by accident.

  6. It's insane. And the fact he is allowed to continue doing this is even worse. Literal global chaos b/c we are not removing an obviously demented president.

    1. He has his hand on the nuclear codes. If that's not the scariest thing in the world I don't know what is.

  7. Where are the fckn grown ups?? I would have loved to read your list post. But that’s a lovely picture too, hopeful somehow.

    1. The fucking grown ups are all on the beach with their heads deeply buried in the sand. Or hiding in their bunkers. Or closing their eyes and putting their fingers in their ears and singing, "La-la-la-la-la. I can't HEAR you!"

  8. I like your title. So apt and fitting. That man sends me into such a state of sadness and anger. I hope I live long enough to see him and all of his sycophants end up in jail.

  9. The post title was worth everything. I read it to SG while we were having coffee. Beautiful photo.

  10. Oh, I hate when that happens. I too have had a couple of posts just **poof** mysteriously disappear. So annoying.

    1. It's like, "Oh shit. What just happened?"
Well, it's not like the Great American Novel disappeared.

  11. You know, that has been happening to me. I type a post and it only saves or publishes part of it. Very strange.

    1. I didn't even hit "publish." I have no idea what I did. Some combination of keys?

  13. This is why I compose in a word processing app. Copy and paste into Blogger.

Threatening to annihilate an entire civilization, the oldest one on the planet, still isn't enough for the republicans to shit can that man. WTF.

    1. That has only happened to me a few times in all the years I've been writing here. So I have no idea what happened.
The Republicans lost all their balls a long, long time ago. The only thing they know how to do now is say, "Yes, Master."

  14. General trump fuckery continues, but how long can this continue is the question.

    1. Well it's already been about ten billion times longer than it should have.

  15. Oh no! How did that happen?! I once hit some combination of keys that erased my entire post too -- and I still couldn't tell you what they were.

  16. It is a 2-week war pause with stipulations is what I'm hearing. The stipulations have already been broken.
This administration use of bluff and bluster is tiring and frightening. To think a madman has the nuclear option is most scary, most unthinkable but true.

    1. Everything is always two weeks for that piece of shit.
I just said the same thing about Trump and the nuclear codes. "Whoopie, we're all gonna die!"

  17. I listened to an audiobook by Richard Fidler "The Book of Roads and Kingdoms" and man, civilization has been threatened so many times. Sorry about your post and about all of our governments.

    1. Civilization is indeed a tenuous thing, isn't it? Think about all the civilizations that we have no knowledge of? Yet, at least. Maybe someday.
I'm not that worried about the post but I sure am worried about the governments.
