Whip It Good

Everything went incredibly well getting over here. The boat ran and the water was flat. The old Toyota even started. The house was still standing. The pipes hadn't burst and the electricity worked.
These are all things which you can't take for granted when you come to Dog Island.
We got everything unloaded and unpacked and put away and now the temperature is dropping and the wind is blowing and whipping like a motherfucker. We crossed the bay just in time and I am hoping the heat still works because it's supposed to get down into the mid thirties tonight.
Oh well.
If not, I've got my love to keep me warm.
But seriously- I hope the heat still works.

Love from Dog Island...Ms. Moon

Yay yay! We made it to the island. Stay warm. I am sure Mr. Moon will help in that area just fine...

I'm so glad you arrived safe but mainly baffled that it's cold in Florida. But what do I know? Mr. Moon looks happy. Good.

Glad you got there safe & sound! It sounds great, even in the mid-30s. I'm envious!

Same here--cold and windy. But this weekend is supposed to be warm and beautiful.
