You Can't Make This Stuff Up

So I just posted that last rant and checked the lastest news to find this:

Ooh boy.

Add another stick to the home fires of what all Ms. Palin has to deal with.

Perhaps I should say, "Bless their hearts."

  1. Oops! "Seems my family values are a little out of whack. No worries, I'm just happy my daughter, having made the wrong choice by screwing without a condom, is making the right choice to bring another unwanted baby into the world, and of course making another right choice in allowing me to force the worthless toad who sired him to marry my feckless daughter against his will so it won't interfere with my VP run." I'm sure we will all support Sarah and her family values!

  2. Not that I have a right to judge others - my son's wedding was of the shotgun variety - but my gut instinct regarding the Palin family - trailer trash with money!

  3. Dang. I can't believe that the Republican party would choose this woman. She does not sound like a winner to me. Although I just walked into my roommates bedroom and told two of them about Sarah's beliefs on abortions, and they said, "She's better than the guy Obama picked". And when I asked why, one said, "I think he's been in legal trouble or something." She couldn't further her reasons any more. This makes me sad. I guess they are also against abortion in the case of rape. Gosh, I'm out of my element here.

  4. You know what, Jessie? It's not just people your roommates age who are as vague and uneducated as they are. It's grown people. People who are intelligent and who should have a better understanding of what choices people sometimes have to face.
It's going to be a rough year for you. Hang in there.

  5. Tell them Juancho says Joe Biden is a bad ass, that ought to clear things up for them.

  6. Yep. Juancho, when Sarah and John and I have lunch tomorrow, I'll tell them what you said.

  7. I think the republicans are spinning this to attract another demographic... mothers who think they failed to pass their lofty values on to their children but are afraid to admit it because their conservative christian church might toss them out on their bouffants...
