Pictures From Lloyd, May 3, 2011

Gourd plant from a seed that Bethany sent me. Yay! Thanks, Bethany!

Overly ambitious bean plants.

Shalayla on nest in garage. That patch of baldness on her back? The badge of being overly-loved by a rooster. We always hurt the ones we love.

Daffodil, Mabel and Miss Dolly eating from a melon bowl. (Thanks, Ms. Fleur!)

Virgin of Guadalupe tablecloth, drying on the line. (Thanks Liz Sparks!)

Goodness. I just realized how nice people are to me. Okay. I realize that all the time.

  7. I don't even know why you keep that rooster around, if all he's good for is screwing your chickens and they lay eggs whether they've been screwed or not...

  8. Ellen- they pecked that sucker to the rind.

Syd- I know! And you are.

Nicol- Wish you could visit for real.

Ms. Bastard-Beloved- When you come we'll use it. I promise.

    x-ray Iris- Isn't it pretty?

    Christina- That's so funny! You're a peach.

Lucy- You are so wrong about Elvis. He does a lot. He protects those girls and watches out for hawks and other predators. He finds food for them and feeds them. Plus- he is beautiful and gentle to humans and we love him. Why would we kill him?
