Shalayla in the border grass under the sago palms, showing her dinosaur heritage.

Men under the wisteria, not hurting the eye at all.

Yeah. It's been a good day.
Kathleen and Judy were involved.
Owen's coming tomorrow at eight a.m. Mr. Moon is cleaning up dishes. I made a vastly fine meal of venison with red cabbage from the garden, and apples and dried cherries and home-made bread and a salad. With a dessert made of berries I picked last summer.
What can I say?
Thanks. And amen.
That'll do.
I believe that about covers it.
Another glorious day, Ms Moon.
ReplyDeleteStrangling under the weight of my life's commitments here, I can only feel a little jealous, but that's the way of it isn't it?
We all have good days and bad. I'm glad yours has been good and mine will only get better.
There you go again, praying the day away without even believing in prayer ;)
ReplyDeleteListen, I absolutely have to make my deer meat this weekend. I need advice....I know you said stir-fry, but I suck at those and I've tossed out the last two dinners I've tried to make and well, I need something good. And easy. You be thinking :) Love.
Shalayla looks like she's straight out of Jurassic Park. Creepy!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm......dinner sounds yummy;
ReplyDeleteLove the photos;
Glad life is good with you;
Me too....not only have I got heat, but tonite, hot water!
What more could a person ask for except maybe homemade bread......
Ah loves 'ya, Mary.
Tell me this: when you pick cabbage, do you just pick a few leaves off the head? We have some green cabbage in our little raised garden bed, but it never has the tight core, so we just pick off the leaves. Is that supposed to be like that?
ReplyDeleteI'm so not a farmer, as you can see!!
A vastly fine meal indeed---I'm imagining it while scarfing down my tofu, rice and kale.....
ReplyDeleteLovely :)
ReplyDeleteYou're not wrong about that chicken.
You had an excellent Wednesday too it seems.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteLove you mas,
SB

Elisabeth- I hope so much that yours got better and that tomorrow will be even better.
ReplyDeleteSJ- I know. I sure do talk about prayer a lot. Go figure.
As to the deer meat- it's a steak, right? Let me think about this. How thick is it, etc?
Mel's Way- The chicken is the closest living relative to the dinosaur.
Lo- I AM SO GLAD YOU GOT HEAT AND HOT WATER!!!!
Hurray!
Love you, dear.
Elizabeth- It's supposed to make a head. This can take a while. Unless you got some other kind of cabbage like Chinese. But no, it should make a head.
A- I'm so sorry!
Jo- I know!
Mwa- Indeed!
Ms. Bastard-Beloved- You know how much I love you.
N2- Exactly!
love love love
