Glen just heard from Alan's wife. Alan has taken his last breath.
It is such a difficult thing to take in, I believe, even when you've been aware that someone you love has been on the path leading to this for quite a long time, whether days or weeks, months or years. It is still a puzzlement. The reality of it is so unfathomable in its way. So final.
I had written an entire post when he got this news and I have deleted it all although of course, a death does not erase life, whether that involves pancakes and grandchildren and cats or hugs.
It is just part of it all. Where there is life, there will be eventually death.
Until then, let's try our best to live that life in love.
Yours truly, in love...Ms. Moon
