I See...

That the US has bombed Iran.

I swear to god- I think this is all because of the sad, sad military birthday parade for Trump a week ago.

But the reason is moot. It's happening.

  1. I woke up to the news and it is terrifying. We can only hope those with common sense will prevail but they seem rather light on the ground.

  2. I was just sick to see that.

  3. I'm sick. The felon has started a war, it's what the bully has been aching to do. Any checks on the felon seem to be non existent.

  7. I read this on the news page when I first turned on this morning and hoped it wasn't true. Everybody over there got your apocalypse bunkers ready?

  8. Trump said he would give Iran two weeks grace. Naturally, he was lying again. He gave them three days. Like Iraq's imaginary weapons of mass destruction, there is no evidence that Iran possesses nuclear weapons. Israel initiated the "war" illegally in contravention of clear international laws.

    1. Yorkshire Pudding, as usual you never miss an opportunity to distort facts when it comes to Israel. I wish you could sit under a ballistic missile attack for one night. Maybe you'll start to understand something.

    2. YP, he did not give them three days. He announced on Thursday that he would take no action for two weeks. The flight to Iran took 37 hours (refueling was done in the air), which backs things up to Friday morning. Missions like this require planning. The decision wasn't made, the planes armed and in the air in a half hour. He was likely planning the attack even as he was saying that he would take no action for two weeks.

  9. That is all that this Sunday morning needed. On top of the heat every day, now a war. My mind can't get used to this world.

  10. I agree with you about his reasons - that sad parade...

  11. He is desperate to show the world he is powerful and get respect for it especially after No Kings and that pitiful excuse for a pride inducing military parade. If he can't get a Nobel peace prize then he'll burn it all down.

  12. It is going to get ugly. Escalation has been chosen. Retaliation is a given. More lives are put on the line.

    1. Sorry too many eye ball mistakes what meant to say is this- Getting out my nuclear winter gear, My "When The wind Blows" outfits ! I read the last few paragraphs of a book to prepare me for surprise endings. I am not keen on surprises- If, In the end everyone dies...I can look for good writing that inspires- good filling in between birth and death. Focus on good filling- Owen driving, the little kids growing into superb humans, the garden, the cabin (haha) - keep metaphors handy.

  14. He’s always wanted a war so he could look like the big, strong leader. The combination of Israel’s actions, his gang of sycophantic and incompetent advisors and, yes, his disappointment at last week’s parade, made for the perfect storm. Please, Congress, strap your balls back on and do your job! Margaret

  16. The US gives Israel 10.4 million dollars per day. We need to rethink this. Israel is guilty of war crimes, but continues on while screaming about 'antisemitism' which is nothing more than a cheap distraction from their actions. In tRUMP Netanyahu has found an easily manipulated man who should not have power, and he is using that to his advantage.
