I absolutely would NOT want anything to do with him if he still lived in France. He would be so intrusive. But anyway, at least my kids still have a good relationship with their dad so that's all that matters!Treadershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08613671137557939083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-74474723415129097472020-06-25T11:58:08.014-04:002020-06-25T11:58:08.014-04:00I have never heard of a "Hoosier Cabinet.&quo...I have never heard of a "Hoosier Cabinet." Interesting! I can see why pickling and canning would come to represent home and comfort. When he found out through mutual friends that I had another man (I know we were living together but don't remember if we were married yet) he came to our house uninvited to check him out I guess with a smug look and demeanor as if to strut around that he had me first. except he never had me. I used him to get out from under my father's thumb.
I know what you mean about checking the garden first thing when you've been away. after we bought this place and before we have permanently moved in, first thing I would do when we got here was to walk the yard and check on everything.
when my next annual comes around I'm going to see if they can check for that alpha defensin protein that is supposed to indicate how bad your symptoms will be if you get the virus.
guess I had a lot to say today.ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-2429969706414872432020-06-25T09:48:16.229-04:002020-06-25T09:48:16.229-04:00Glad you made it through the lab test. Not sure if that will be a telehealth one or not yet. Had one of those (my first) with my neurologist the other day--it was actually pretty interesting--putting my phone down on the floor in the hallway against the back bedroom door and walking up and down for her to watch my gait...then rocking up on my toes and back on my heels for her. Doing the usual stuff like holding out arms, touching nose, etc. I'd already done a temp check and BP check before the call--figuring she'd want the info. She did and was pleased I was prepared. Guess I got an A for effort. Now I just have to manage an MRI and two MRAs. Luckily, the place has Sunday hours so not many folks will be around. Life in the time of covid is an exercise in tolerance. And for far too many--heartbreak.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11587652444835060129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-17694658047697425772020-06-25T01:16:02.701-04:002020-06-25T01:16:02.701-04:00Good Morning Ms Moon, here in France it's 7 am...Good Morning Ms Moon, here in France it's 7 am. Reading you is a part of my morning ritual before going to school (I'm a teacher) since several years now. I like your writing a lot. Thank you. Have a nice day. Two cupboards above, two cabinets below and a tall work space between, with a marble counter for kneading bread.
