Ones I like better.

Rebecca- I'll look for it.

Denise- In this case, Thing One and Thing Two are not so creepy. Thank-you, dear.

Stephanie- That's a good one!

Mr. Shife- Excellent!

Ellen- Oh, that one is already a favorite.

Syd- I did not correct my mother, either. Why would I even want to? It makes her happy to think that her profession was teaching swimming.

Elizabeth- With Jessie I dragged it out for years. She would do my hair and I would read Harry Potter to her. Some of the best times of my life.

Birdie- For some reason, it is even harder to see your grandchild upset than your child. Or maybe not. Maybe it's just that we feel freer to show it.

Angie- Oh, that's a good one too! I think Owen will like that. He DOES eat green eggs, in fact.

Ms. Fleur- Can you believe this weather?

Jill- Aw. And he likes to "bump" glasses too. He refuses to say "toast!" but says "bump."

Ms. Bastard-Beloved- Hell. Maybe you should STILL be a bartender. You'd be a lot less stressed out, I think. I say I am a bartender still, though I make my living through the drudgery of technical writing/editing. I bartended for the years right after college while I looked for my niche in life. Most fun job I ever had. Nobody is EVER sorry to see a bartender or a fireman, and the talent is quite portable. I could bartend in any country.

Love you!Sarcastic Bastardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17116577711704241625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-27069608242960630992011-09-09T09:15:48.046-04:002011-09-09T09:15:48.046-04:00I would definitely give Owen "Five!" if ...I would definitely give Owen "Five!" if given the chance!
