Nope!

I LOVE the name of that pie! Who were Donna and Edie? Bravo to you for making everything from scratch. My grandmother made pudding from scratch but I don't think I've had anything but instant pudding ever since. (And you're right -- it's pretty good!)

Owen's looking happy, as are Darla's babies!Steve Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11684120060438252945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-71465842685399549032019-06-30T11:36:53.899-04:002019-06-30T11:36:53.899-04:00glad to see life went on without me.glad to see life went on without me.ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-75191879423255038822019-06-30T10:50:37.924-04:002019-06-30T10:50:37.924-04:00this president (not mine) annoys me so much, i hav...this president (not mine) annoys me so much, i have to come visit you to get back right with the world. yes, he's a suck up ass kissing putin acolyte, and an idiot to boot, and it helps to know i am not alone in that assessment. that cake you're making sounds yummy.37paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400464105403622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-14768670169493260742019-06-29T18:00:32.289-04:002019-06-29T18:00:32.289-04:00I bow down to your superiority - I wouldn't kn...I bow down to your superiority - I wouldn't know how to make a pudding to save my soul if it wasn't instant. Whipping cream, yes.

Oh your grandsons are so adorable! I guess after I cooked my millionth meal I can just toss this in, add a little salt as the crow flies, a pinch of this and a bit of that!!!!
It is the way my family cooked and was passed down. My mama didn't know the word bake or broil. Everything was cooked in lard or Crisco... :) as I can recall. Probably the reason I have high blood pressure and cholesterol.

So happy to hear that your sweet grandson made it to camp and the little ones on the tractor is just too cute. You have beautiful grandchildren. It is always wonderful when we have them close to us.

Congratulations on getting your North Carolina trip planned. It sounds wonderful. Where in Florida are you? I meet my girlfriend every March in Kissimmee for 14 wonderful days. She has a condo there and her daughter tries to come for at least a week every year too.
She is just outside of Boston so after their winters she is super ready for the wonderful warmth of Florida.

The pie sounds like heaven. I love homemade pudding but like you, I have no problems with instant lol.

It is almost 3 in the morning and I can't rest but I really need to try. Have a wonderful Saturday. There I was, wondering if you really used cool whip and instant choco pudding, and trying to hold those thoughts to the end in order to ask about them, and then there you were, whipping up cream and making chocolate pudding just like gramma taught me to do. My world is right again, down to not telling the new wif unless she's a true wife.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16601010208310707750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-31517571350206834532019-06-28T20:57:18.454-04:002019-06-28T20:57:18.454-04:00I'm going to try the chocolate pie, thanks.
