Or am I confusing him with a different friend?

I'm glad you got the washing machine ironed out. I do wish I didn't have to make it private, but for work reasons it seemed the most prudent thing to do, at least for a while. I would be happy to invite you! Just email me at 37paddington@gmail.com with your preferred email address and I will send the link. One thing: Now that the blog is private it no longer updates on blog rolls and feeds, so you won't ever know that I've posted unless you actually go the site. Googling "37paddington blog" will get you there if you don't recall the URL. It will be lovely to know you are there communing with the rest of the lovely souls who still come around. Thank you for caring. 37paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400464105403622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-86786333994479026162019-03-27T03:32:17.665-04:002019-03-27T03:32:17.665-04:00Dear Mrs Moon, may I hijack your comments for one ...Dear Mrs Moon, may I hijack your comments for one moment please, to ask 37 Paddington if it is at all possible for me to continue to read her blog now it's become private? Especially the one who ate veggies on the way to Costco. Though I suppose August and Levon's daddy would eat his veggies on the way to Costco, too.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16601010208310707750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-2649569536444497292019-03-26T20:52:48.755-04:002019-03-26T20:52:48.755-04:00I spent too much time in rehab facilities last yea...I spent too much time in rehab facilities last year, good and bad. And by bad, I mean the pits. Later I read the bad ones on line reviews. Unhappy people leave unhappy reviews, and bad rehab facilities get bad review about urine soaked bed and untended vomit bags. My good facility was run by the Catholic Sisters of Charity. My bad facility was a national chain. If your husband can do any more to help his friend, he could look at ratings and reviews for available rehab facilities, and see if a transfer is possible.
I could go into my bad experience, but it was awful and I won't. When I finally could get around in a wheel chair, a woman in a room nearby called and called for help when her bell was not answered. I finally got into my chair and got over and learned she was desperate to go to the bathroom. I made the long wheel down the hall to the nurses's station, and even yelled half way down for the only staff person down there not to leave before I got there. They didn't, though they did't come to meet me. I explained the problem. The person on duty said she was custodial, and set off to find an aide. It was all sad. But, that was the health care side. The rehab in both facilities was second to none.
