Flying with Audrey in a Cessna 150 after she'd just gotten her private license when I was so scared of flying. We laughed our heads off because I hadn't even thought to fasten my seat belt while I hung onto her Coke for her.
Actually, almost anyplace I went with Audrey, or even no place. Seeing my grandson for the first time made me so happy I cried even though I was on Prozac which doesn't allow crying. Just hanging out with my Juancho and Libbyllama, and especially the Christmas Eve when they were grown-ups but I read them "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" and we all sniffled, even Walt. :) Being with my doggy. :)
Finding Ms. Moon online. :)LoPohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13654988436386324309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-90477745580894901702008-08-08T16:09:00.000-04:002008-08-08T16:09:00.000-04:00Brother WB- what band DID you manage? Those were a ...Brother WB- what band DID you manage?
Those were a lot of sweet-smile memories.
I am liking this.Ms. Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09776404747858099919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-3564566601681236212008-08-08T15:30:00.000-04:002008-08-08T15:30:00.000-04:00Watching my Mom and Dad do the jitterbug at my bro...Watching my Mom and Dad do the jitterbug at my bro's wedding.
Realizing my son paddled out by himself and caught a wave next to me.
Watching his brother stand up on a wave and laugh when he REALLY didin't want to try it.
My oldest son's first goal in soccer.
My youngest playing the drum kit with his middle school band.
Watching the guy at Wall Mart put up the cd's for the band I was managing at 12:00 on a Monday night.
Seeing the bands name in Billboard and Rolling Stone.
Playing drums for them in Panama City.
My first real wave in Hawaii.
Watching my wife swim away from me like a fish after not wanting to skin dive....she loved it.
And yet, I feel pretty much like you desribe, most of the time.
