This sounds like a magical day, steeped in Old Florida! I love the picture of all the kids sitting together. My family used to own a farmhouse in West Virginia with no plumbing, but I never spent more than a couple hours there at a time. Never overnight! Oh, and I appreciate your comment on my blog -- we probably DO think about things too much, but you know, I think that's a good thing. It's good to question yourself and your motives and your perspectives, don't you think? Some people (in the White House) could benefit from that kind of reflection.Steve Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11684120060438252945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-38695641308276467452017-11-25T09:48:11.988-05:002017-11-25T09:48:11.988-05:00"Who's that terrible president?" If you ever find yourself in Lubbock you should go to the ranching museum at Texas Tech. it's the history of the development of ranching in Texas through the houses people lived in to settle west Texas starting with a Spanish mission and a dugout and ending with a big fancy ranch house. one of the houses was a two room wood structure with a well and an outhouse and my aunt spent a good part of her growing up at that house where her friend lived.ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-45604846866581790162017-11-25T09:01:34.617-05:002017-11-25T09:01:34.617-05:00https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-elkhart-to...https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-elkhart-tooth-brick

show that to the grandkids!

you're welcome.

xxalainaxxmrs.missalaineushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08542984504965262088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-78398599349622701152017-11-25T09:00:19.165-05:002017-11-25T09:00:19.165-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.mrs.missalaineushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08542984504965262088noreply@blogger.com
