What a lovely day you had, Ms. Moon. Those babies are sure cuties. My son and my nephew were born days apart and my mom would watch them while I was in graduate school and my sister worked. They used to chew on each others bald heads. I like how Lily refers to herself as Aunt Mama.

There is just something about a day that goes so well. A spring in your step ready to face the world! You do the best little lines...like the going to the library....gave me new thoughts about reading. Your garden all set for the season to come...well if that isn's inspiring what is? This is the kind of post that makes me wonder if everyone I know and love lives somewhere better than me. We have rain, but no snow. I have not one tree/bush to clip, so no need for those gorgeous clippers (I think I would have swooned as well)...so. There you go. And let's not EVEN get started on the baby envy, now that it has been decided (NOT by me, you understand) that there will be no more babies, and I love him enough to not want to risk the life we already have to push the issue. Sigh...

So glad you are here to help me make sense out of it all.

Sounds like I am not the only one with clipper envy. Those are some serious clippers! That said by one who thinks there is little aggravation in this world that cannot be eased by a good pruning session in the garden. And my plants are very accepting of that; just thrive and give back more.

So I do have a holster for my Felcos and carry them around like a baby in a sling. But I just love the new ones you got. Are they...what? They look mean and lean and for my tiny hands the Felcos - I have several ergonomic and not so - are getting a bit heavy.

What a full and lovely post. Love the baby pictures, covet your new clippers and laughed outloud at the saving of the world by growing heirloom veggies! And the library plus a chat with an old friend, what a wonderful day. I've been looking at seed catalogs and drooling over these little blueberry bushes that are hardy in this zone. One of my favorite kid memories is picking wild blueberries! Your garden looks very well tended, and I am envying your climate and your good day very much!
