What a great story to tell the kid someday!

Those fish lunches look great! Although I confess I might have opted for wheat. When I was a little girl, my sisters and I used to follow our grandfather around on the beach while he threw his cast net in the water. He always came out with a full net and would empty those mullet on the sand for us to pick up and throw into a zinc tub. Then we would go home and my grandmother would fry them up and serve them with cheese grits. So good!Loishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10737705457021667861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-9860318053133721202018-02-24T19:59:03.215-05:002018-02-24T19:59:03.215-05:00Oh holy fuckinascious, I envy your life. I live in WI 9 hours away from my only son and granddaughter, ice and sleet and rain, in a town of 1300, at least 45 minutes away from a big store. I drove 45 minutes one way yesterday to buy 2 art pens. I love reading your posts. Bless your heart for sure. Signed, a couple beers into a cold night in WI.
