I’m so sorry that any child has to fear a monster or take on burdens no child should. Steve is right, you’ve broken the cycle and you and Mr. Moon have created a lovely, loving family. Much love.
Xoxo
Barbara Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08269412736754228930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-85968157578950483062021-10-30T13:03:15.742-04:002021-10-30T13:03:15.742-04:00It's beautiful to see such a simple, wholesome...It's beautiful to see such a simple, wholesome snapshot of home life. I didn't feel scared at night waiting for the monster but my mother was absent and incapable of giving her daughters the love and affection and validation they wanted and needed. And while my father was there, he wasn't really there, working from early to late, often on call on weekends, and when he was there he was usually angry and would take it out on us kids. You did a good enough job to produce adults who send pictures like that one and hopefully I did too.ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-47761513952644971442021-10-30T10:02:13.772-04:002021-10-30T10:02:13.772-04:00May peace and love continue to shine on you and yo...May peace and love continue to shine on you and your family!Ellen D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03776803182673252265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-47611108991595168592021-10-30T09:31:13.452-04:002021-10-30T09:31:13.452-04:00Yes!Yes!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06671446238805535547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086296370004835655.post-48677415822138940872021-10-30T09:30:22.768-04:002021-10-30T09:30:22.768-04:00I want to hug you. This photo and all it evokes is not an accident. But yes, it is so beautiful to have arrived at this place.
